Green Valley

Published by under General Information

April snows and May showers.  Rain this past weekend is really bringing color back into the meadows.  Our pastures haven’t looked this green in more than 6 months.  And lilacs are about to bloom in La Veta.  Cottonwoods along the creeks will be leafing soon now.  The gambel oak brush will  leaf out much later as will the high country aspen trees.
