The Week at a Glance
What a week. Here are quick tidbits of the news this week. I got back Monday and wrote another Contract on Tuesday. The weather has been seasonally windy again but we still have showings scheduled for this weekend. Sure nice to have some new business again.
The week also saw poaching of town deer, potshots between townies and countrysiders, split decision for a new Town Judge, ski resort sale rumors and the Grandote mediation.
The participants are mum regarding specific details of Thursday’s Grandote mediation meetings, but some seem to acknowledge that the day was fruitful. At least no one that I saw was cussing nor crying about it. Even some prospects that the golf course could possibly re-open. I don’t want to spread rumors or false hopes, but expect some announcements or confirmations within the next few days. We are sure hopeful that this can happen soon.
One Response to “The Week at a Glance”

Hey Jerry! Yes, Randy Briggs will be announcing the opening for Memorial Day weekend, with the Redskin Open to kick off the season. Watch for press releases soon. Also, just to update, the mediation was not a success, but meeting are scheduled soon, and hopefully, we will be able to move to a more positive time for the Town. Also, just to let everyone know, due to the recent incidents of vandalism, including the most recent threatening note left on retired Al Drum’s home gate, and Charlies recent incident, Dave Molyneux and Randy Briggs are offering a reward of $1,000.00 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is trying to disrupt our Town. It is time to take our town back, and together, we will! Kelly
